Childhood

I was born in a village about 70 km from downtown Wuhan in June 1954. The name of the village is Ren He Ji (meaning: People harmonic Assembly). The village has about 100 families with about 10 different last names. There is a main street and several small alleys. Based on the name and the layout of houses,  it was likely that the village was a market place where people exchanged goods regularly sometime ago. But I did not see any shop and nobody knew the history of the village.
